Abram Friesen Wiebe, age 54, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, KS. He was born on August 16, 1972, in Cuauhtémoc, Mexico, the son of Peter and Marie Friesen Wiebe. His family moved to Bolivia when he was 3 years old. He spent most of his childhood there until his family moved back to Mexico when he was 17. He met Elizabeth shortly thereafter. They were married on July 7th, 1996, and then moved to Kismet, Kansas, in 1999. They then moved to Scott City in 2002 and have lived in the community for the past 24 years. Abe has been a farmer most of his life and a longtime employee of Vulgamore Family Farms.

Abe enjoyed attending his children’s sporting events throughout the years and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, especially taking them for rides in his golf cart and Gator. He took great pride in maintaining a pristine yard and was known as a jack of all trades, always having the right tool for any project.
