Anita Louise Gamble, age 84, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on January 28, 1942, in Hiwasse, Arkansas, the Daughter of Carmen M. & Fernetta M. Martin Croxdale. A resident of Scott City, Kansas, since 1969, moving from Centerton, Arkansas. She was a Homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas. Louise was also a past member of Eastern Star and the Scott City Planning and Zoning Commission.
On May 20, 1960, she married Howard Gene Gamble at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Hiwasse, Arkansas.
Survivors include her Husband - Howard Gene Gamble of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Glenita & Alan Dearden of Scott City, Kansas, One Son - Neal & Karen Gamble of Scott City, Kansas, Two Brothers - Tommy K. Croxdale of Gentry, Arkansas, Doug & Francis Croxdale of Gravette, Arkansas, Two Grandaughters - Heather & Dusty Olsen of Schoenchen, Kansas, and Lisa & Ray Pesina of Valley Center, Kansas, One Grandson - Matthew & Jessy Gamble of Pittsburg, Kansas, and Seven Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, One Brother - Joe Croxdale, and One Granddaughter - Amanda Dearden.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas, with Pastor Steve Payne presiding.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospitals in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 553, Scott City, Kansas 67871.
Interment will be held at Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas 67871.
