Arla Peter

Arla Peter, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Greeley County Hospital in Tribune, Kansas. She was born on September 17, 1954, in Tribune, Kansas, to Lawrence & Marjorie Woelk Peter. She was a lifelong member of the Tribune Community.

Surviving family includes her brother Daniel & Sally Peter of Tribune, Kansas, her nieces, Miranda & Toby Marlin of Benkelman, Nebraska, Christina & Corey Hicks of Overland Park, Kansas, Heather & Rodney Richter of Harrisonville, Missouri, and her nephew Christopher & Gina Peter of Tribune, Kansas, her great nephews Major and Slade Marlin of Benkelman, Nebraska, her great nieces, Addison and Elizabeth Hicks of Overland Park, Kansas, Sophie and Stella Peter of Tribune, Kansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Linda K. Peter, Diana Lynn Ramsey, and one brother, Mark Peter.

Memorial Services are planned for Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. (Mountain) at the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas, with DeAnn Appelhans presiding.

Memorials may be given to the “Melvin O. Kuder Senior Center” or the “Greeley County Hospital” in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 161, Leoti, Kansas, 67861.
