Garden City, Kansas Candelerio Bonilla, age 90, died at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas. He was born on February 2, 1929 in Concepion De Oriente La Union, El Salvador, the son of Antonio and Elena Acosta De Bonilla. Candelerio worked for Tyson Foods until his passing. He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church of Garden City. He married Ana Maria Avelar in 1950. She survives. Other survivers are Wife Ana Maria Avelar De Bonilla of El Salvador Five Sons Abraham Bonilla of Garden City, Kansas Roberto Bonilla of El Salvador Carlos Bonilla of Sioux City, Iowa Ramon Bonilla of Garden City, Kansas Rafael Bonilla of Nashville, Tennessee Four Daughters Alicia Velazquez of El Salvador Rosa Reyes of El Salvador Gladys Finochio of Babylon, New York Eufemia Yanez of El Salvador Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents. Calling hours will be from 5-8 on Thursday and 10-1 on Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City. Protestant memorial service will be at 6 pm followed by the holy rosary at 7 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment will be at a later date in El Salvador. Memorials are suggested to the Finney County Humane Society in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St. Garden City, Kansas 67846.
