Carl Levi Evans, age 42, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Greeley County Hospital in Tribune, Kansas. He was born on August 5, 1983, to Carl Albert and Synthia Lynne Evans in Tribune, Kansas. He was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He served his community as a volunteer firefighter and fairboard member.
On September 9, 2006, Levi married Adriana Veleta. She survives.
Survivors include his wife, Adriana Evans, two sons, Guilherme Evans and Tristen Evans of Tribune, Kansas, his mother, Synthia Preston of Garden City, Kansas, two sisters, Heather Evans of Leoti, Kansas, Autumn & Mark Brinkman of Olpe, Kansas, his father and mother-in-law, Daniel & Maria Veleta of Tribune, Kansas, brother-in-law, Leo Veleta of Garden City, Kansas, sister-in-law, Monica & Keith Slattery of Tribune, Kansas, sister-in-law Daniela Veleta of Syracuse, Kansas, eight Nieces and Nephews, Tori (Julio) Mancillas, Ayme Roberts, Harli Roberts, Summer Brinkman, Eric Brinkman, Beckett Brown, Brooklyn Brown, and Barrett Brown, aunts, uncles, and nine Preston cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Evans, and his Grandparents, Gene & Geri Preston.
Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Tribune, Kansas on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. (MT) with Pastor Nick Talbott-Dixson presiding. Once the church reaches capacity, overflow will be at the 4H building at 905 N Ingalls, Tribune, Kansas. Graveside services will follow at the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas. Services will be live streamed at evt.live/levi-evans
Public visitation will be on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. (MT) until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday April 16, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas.
