Catherine Ann Wilson

Catherine Ann Wilson, 83, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026, at the Greeley County Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Ann was born on Easter Sunday, April 5, 1942, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Clarence & Margaret (St. Clair) Ogle, Jr. She grew up in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

From her first marriage, she was blessed with five children: Helen & Patrick Clark of Wichita, Kansas, Janet & Randy Crittenden of Horace, Kansas, Joanie Myers of Horace, Kansas, Nancy & Von Johnston of Dighton, Kansas, and John & Kandace Kennis, Jr. of Garden City, Kansas.

Ann moved to Tribune, Kansas, in the late 60s, where she raised her children and started her career as a District Magistrate Judge. She ran unopposed until her retirement in 2005.

On December 31, 1980, Ann married Harold G. Wilson, and together they raised the children and grandchildren until his death on April 4, 2005.

Ann loved playing cards, board games, traveling, KU Basketball, cross-stitch, crocheting, and puzzles. She loved her family and friends and spending time with them. She was always up for an adventure. Ann said she was always busier following the grandkids’ activities than she ever was while on the bench. She has 19 grandchildren and 68 great-grandchildren.

She made the most out of each moment. Togetherness, love, kindness, faith, and family were her motives in life! She was strong in her faith until the very end! We read her scripture and prayed every day for 7 weeks while she prayed for Jesus and going to Heaven.

Ann was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and she enjoyed each and every moment spent with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Margaret (St. Clair) Ogle, Jr., her husband, Harold Gene Wilson, her brother, Jere Clair Ogle, one granddaughter, Holly Shay Myers, two great-grandsons, Ezra Kai Welsh, and Greysen Ray Holmes, and one nephew, Daniel Prime.
