Charlie P. Schwab

Charlie P. Schwab, age 83, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on September 18, 1941, in Soldier, Kansas, the son of Emanuel and Bernice Area Schwab. A resident of Scott City, Kansas, since 1965, moving from Oberlin, Kansas, he was the owner and operator of Charlie’s Plumbing in Scott City, Kansas.

He was a member of the Lyle United Methodist Church in Norcatur, Kansas, and the National Plumbers Association.

On February 29, 2008, he married Patricia Ann Young Goud in Scott City, Kansas. She survives.

Survivors include his Wife - Pat Schwab of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Pam & Ron Turner of Scott City, Kansas, Two Sons - Cary & Tamera Schwab of Chanute, Kansas, Tim & Jacquie Schwab of Goddard, Kansas, One Step daughter, Theresa & Lynn Holmes of Garden City, Kansas, one Step Son, Robert & Tami Sneller of Garden City, Kansas, Two Sisters - Dorothy Cochran of Oberlin, Kansas, Vera Dack of McCook, Nebraska, One Brother - John Schwab of Kearney, Nebraska, Six Grandchildren, Five step Grand children, Eleven Great Grandchildren, Four Great Great Grandchildren, and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, one Stepmother - Mildred Schwab, Three Brothers - Bill Schwab, Robert Schwab, and Walter Schwab, and Two brothers-in-law In Law - Leonard Cochran and Dean Dack.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
