Chaseton W. Cupp

Chaseton Warren Cupp, age 25, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 18, 2025, in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on May 15, 2000, in Wichita, Kansas, to Christian Edward and Christine Marie Brokofsky Cupp. Chaseton worked for the Public Works department of the City of Scott City.

Chase was a man of many passions, and as a child he was obsessed with trains, sprinklers, lights and legos, along with a time where raised bees for honey. His real passion was computers and gaming, and over the years he built several computers himself. He attended Kansas State University for several years majoring in Computer Science, prior to returning to Scott City.

Survivors include his parents, Christian & Christine Cupp of Scott City, Kansas; two brothers, Colton Cupp of Scott City, Kansas, and Connor Cupp of Scott City, Kansas; girlfriend, Rose Richardson of Scott City, Kansas; grandparents, Ed & Deva Cupp of Scott City, Kansas, Ruben & Alice Brokofsky of Scott City, Kansas; aunt, Catherine Brokofsky of Scott City, Kansas; and aunt and uncle, Chandler & Meredith Cupp of Scott City, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Caleb E. Cupp.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas, with the Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Chase Cupp Memorial Fund in care of Price and Sons, P.O. Box 552, Scott City, KS 67871.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
