Ethel D. Kuder, age 87, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026, at the Greeley County Hospital in Tribune, Kansas. She was born on December 27, 1938, in Sullivan, Missouri, to George Washington and Sarah Anna Strothcamp Sons. She moved to Tribune in 1947 from Pacific, Missouri. She was a dedicated farm wife, farmer, and custom harvester, and a faithful member of the Assembly of God congregation in Tribune, Kansas.
On August 25, 1956, Ethel married Rodger Keith Kuder in the Lutheran Church in Tribune, Kansas. He passed away on February 14, 2004, at his home in Tribune.
Survivors include her children, Lisa & Mark Larkin of Tribune, Kansas, Tracy Langdon & Larry Fessel of Goodland, Kansas, Monte & Heather Kuder of Carbondale, Kansas, her sister Betty Gentry of Tribune, Kansas, brothers-in-law Glen & Barbara Kuder of Tribune, Kansas, Larry & Carolyn Kuder of Salina, Kansas, nine grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her siblings, Eddie Sons, Dot Osborn, Leroy Sons, Lena Spahn, Charlie Sons, and her daughter Brenda Hill.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 (MT), Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Assembly of God church in Tribune, Kansas, with Dr. Chad Jenkins presiding. Burial will follow at the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. (MT) at the Price and Sons Funeral Home, 322 2nd st., Tribune, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to “Gideon’s International” or the “Greeley County Fire Department” in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home, Po Box 161, Leoti, Kansas 67861.
