Garrett Scott See, age 44, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the Riverbend Post Acute Rehabilitation in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born on August 28, 1980, in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Scott and Aleta Williams See.

He graduated from Scott Community High School in Scott City, Kansas, in 1999 and attended Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas, and received his degree in Computer Science from DeVry University. He was employed by the IT Department of Kearney County Hospital in Lakin, Kansas, and USD 466 in Scott City, Kansas.

Garrett’s health struggles led him to Kansas City to have better access to health care. For the last 10 years, he lived with his brother Wyatt See in Leavenworth, Kansas, and worked supporting the US Army.

He loved tabletop gaming, where he brought stories and joy to his table with great creativity, quick wit, and keen intellect. Garrett loved learning and was an avid documentary enthusiast.

Survivors include his Parents - Scott & Aleta See of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - Wyatt & Allie Walsh See of Leavenworth, Kansas, One Nephew - Bradley Walsh of Leavenworth, Kansas, his Two Cats - Athena and Jackson, Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many Friends.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents - Duane & Molly Williams, and Walter & Phyllis See, and One Uncle - Allan Hoeme.

Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas, with Pastor Don Williams presiding.
