Gary Wayne Allaman was born September 6, 1967, in Goodland, Kansas to John (Jack) and Mary Allaman. Gary passed away at Scott County Hospital on May 17, 2023.
Gary was raised in Wallace County with his older brother Larry and younger brother Brian. The boys were raised by loving parents on the farm in Wallace County. Gary graduated high school in Sharon Springs, the class of 1985. After graduation, Gary moved to Scott City where he has resided for the past 38 years. Gary worked for the City of Scott City for two years and then for Fairleigh Feed Yard since 1997.
Gary's oldest daughter, Shantel was born in 2005, and his youngest son, Brayden was born in 2006, both were born in Scott City, Kansas where they still reside. Shantel Just Finished, her junior year, and Brayden just finished his sophomore year at Scott City High School.
Shantel gave Gary a Grandson, Cole Ryder Venegas on August 25, 2020. Gary's Children and Grandson were the light of his life. He was very proud of both of his children, and his eyes and smile lit up whenever he was with Cole. Gary loved being a Papa to Cole.
Gary enjoyed long motorcycle rides, as well as taking his family to the races, and fishing trips. It was time they spent together that will never be forgotten. Gary was loved by many and will be greatly missed. The time he spent with family and friends will be cherished forever.
Surviving relatives include One Daughter - Shantel Allaman of Scott City, Kansas, One Son - Brayden Allaman of Scott City, Kansas, One Grandson - Cole Venegas of Scott City, Kansas, Two Brothers - Larry Allaman of Atwood, Kansas, Brian & Linda Allaman of Sharon Springs, Kansas, as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, 3 Nieces, 1 Nephew and many friends.
Gary is proceeded in death by his Father, Mother, Paternal Grandparents, and Maternal Grandparents.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas with Don Williams presiding.
In Lieu Of Flowers, memorials can be written to the Gary Allaman Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 553, Scott City, Kansas.
There will be no visitation times.
Inurnment will be held at 2:00 p.m. MST (3:00 p.m. CST) on Monday, May 22, 2023, in the Fort Wallace Cemetery in Wallace, Kansas.
