J. Mark Weinmann

J. Mark Weinmann, age 78, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026, at his home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on August 20, 1948, in Atchison, Kansas, the son of Carl John & Anna Marie Derichs Weinmann. A resident of Scott City, Kansas, since 1950, having moved from Atchison, Kansas, he was a retired truck driver and a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas, the NRA, and a past member of ABATE.

On July 3, 1971, he married Pamela S. Berning in Marienthal, Kansas. She survives.

Survivors include his Wife - Pam Weinmann of Scott City, Kansas, Three Sons - Jeremy Weinmann & Toni Palen of Marienthal, Kansas, Brock Weinmann & Rachel Flesher of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Nathan Weinmann of Scott City, Kansas, and, One Sister - Ann & John Kreutzer of Castle Rock, Colorado, Two Grandchildren and One Great-Grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Brother - David Weinmann.

Memorial Services will be at 10:30 a.m Monday, September 14, 2026, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas, with Fr. Don Bedore presiding.

Memorials in Lieu of Flowers may be made to the Scott County EMS or Scott County Fire Department, in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 553, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.

Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
