Jerry J. Birkle

Jerry J. Birkle, age 85, passed away at January 16, 2019 at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas.  He was born on April 16, 1933 in Shadwick, Oklahoma the son of Jone and Lillie Meier Birkle.

He worked in the Housing and building and repair industry as a finishing carpenter and he had a perfectionist detail.

Jerry also loved the great outdoors and was often out hunting and fishing.

On December 23, 1953 he married Nina Bates at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Garden City, Kansas.   She survives.

Greg Birkle of Garden City, Kansas

Monte Birkle of Washington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Russell, Doug, and Gary.

Calling hours will be from 10-8 on Monday, January 21, 2018 with the family present from 6:30-8 at Price and Sons Funeral Home, Garden City.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2018 at 10 am at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Garden City, Kansas.

Interment will follow immediately at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
