Jon Bryan

Scott City Jon B. Bryan passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at his home in Livermore, California, after a short bout with cancer. He was born on November 9, 1940 in Scott City, KS. , to J. Arthur Bryan and Myrtle (Burditt) Bryan. Jon attended Scott City schools through the 12th grade, graduating from SCHS in 1958. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1968 with a Doctorate in Physics. He retired from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 1993 after 30 years of service. On December 28, 1973 he was married to Gail Voelker in Livermore, CA. Survivors include: Wife Gail (Voelker) Bryan Livermore, CA Father J. Arthur Bryan Scott City, KS Two Brothers Tom Bryan Ireland, IN Joel Bryan Scott City, KS And numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother.
