Kacie L. McKinney

Kacie L. McKinney, age 40, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on August 4, 1984, in Tribune, Kansas, the daughter of Robert John Fulton & Gloria Medina. A resident of Scott City, Kansas, since 1994, moving from Leoti, Kansas, she was the Postmaster in Leoti, Kansas.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas, and the United Postmaster and Managers of America.

On October 17, 2009, she married Jace Raymond McKinney in Scott City, Kansas. He survives.

McKinney of Scott City, Kansas, Three Sons - Dylan Fulton of Scott City, Kansas, Derick McKinney of Scott City, Kansas, Noah McKinney of Scott City, Kansas, Mother - Gloria Fulton of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - Travis & Addie Fulton of Scott City, Kansas, Step Mother - Mary Fulton of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Three Step Sisters - Leah Tucker of Eagle, Idaho, Sabrina & Andrew Reyes of Coppell, Texas, Ericah Schmucker of Alexandria, Virginia, Mother In Law - LaDonna McKinney of Scott City, Kansas, Father In Law - David McKinney of Scott City, Kansas, Two Brothers in Law - Lance McKinney of Lakewood, Colorado, Rees & Therese McKinney of Colby, Kansas, Grandmother - Betty Fulton of Bloomington, Illinois, One Aunt - Karen & Tim Terry of Linn Creek, Missouri, and Close Friend - Julie Dawson of Burlington, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her Father - Robert Fulton.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas, with Rev. Jeff Goetzinger presiding.

Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
