Kamdyn Paul Henry Moore

Kamdyn Paul Henry Moore, age 16, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, in Scott County, Kansas.  He was born on April 7, 2007, in Clovis, New Mexico, the son of Kevin Moore & Lela Ross.  A lifetime resident of Scott County, Kansas, he was a student at Scott Community High School.  Kamdyn was a Native American enrolled with the Wichita Tribe his Native name is Running Wind.

Kamdyn was a member of the Prairie View Church of the Brethren in Friend, Kansas.  He was also a member of the 4-H, National Junior Hereford Association, and Kansas Junior Hereford Association.

Survivors include his Father - Kevin Moore of Scott City, Kansas, Mother - Lela Ross of Tucumcari, New Mexico, One Sister - Charli Moore of Modoc, Kansas, Siblings - Nicolas Martinez of Tucumcari, New Mexico, Angie French of Tucumcari, New Mexico, Braxton French of Tucumcari, New Mexico, Dynamite Jones of Tucumcari, New Mexico, Grandparents - Charles & Darla Moore of Modoc, Kansas, Teresa Crisman of Logan, New Mexico, Vincent Ross of Amarillo, Texas, Great Grandparents - Gerald & Delores Reed of Logan, New Mexico, Wallace Thompson of Borger, Texas, Ten Aunts & Uncles - Dana & David Pieper of Zurich, Kansas, Shellie & Colby Collins of Chattanooga, Oklahoma, Heather & Dan Renier of Oronoco, Minnesota and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 25, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas with Rev. Jon Tuttle presiding.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas, 67871. 

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2023 in the Prairie View Cemetery in Friend, Kansas.
