Leon D. Farr, age 76, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at his home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on March 19, 1949, in Scott City, Kansas, the son of William Oliver and Mildred Rosetta Russell Farr. He was a lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas.
Leon worked for several different cattle companies, including Kansas Feedyard, Dickhut Feedyard, and Ellis Feedyard, as a cattleman. He had a great love for cattle, horses, buffalo, and riding with family on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
He was a member of the Christian faith.
On January 17, 1975, he married Pearl E. Hasz in Scott City, Kansas. She passed away on April 5, 2010, in Wichita, Kansas.
Survivors include his Two Sisters - Shirley Darlene Bennett of Garden City, Kansas, and Charlene May & Ralph Carpenter of Garden City, Kansas, One Sister-In-Law - Roberta Farr of Louisville, Kentucky, and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Three Brothers - Delbert Farr, Donald Farr, Norman Farr, and One Sister - Brenda Kay Farr.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2026, at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas, with Mason Bennett presiding.
Memorials in Lieu of Flowers may be made to the Leon Farr Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 553, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
Interment will be held in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
