Michael Gould

Michael B. Gould, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Hope Springs Nursing Home in Sharon Springs, Kansas. He was born on March 18, 1940, in rural Blaine County, Oklahoma, to Harold Willis and Alice Cade Gould. He was a sought-after professor, having taught agricultural technologies at Louisiana Tech, NE Louisiana University, Ft. Hays State University, and Oklahoma State University. He was a member of our community since moving from Casa Grande, Arizona, in October of 2021.

On November 22, 1963, he married Ruth Ann Kelly in Omega, Oklahoma. She passed away on May 17, 2024.

Survivors include his son, John & Liz Gould of Leoti, Kansas; two grandchildren, Blake Gould and Madison Gould of Leoti, Kansas; one Niece, Joy Gould of Loyal, Oklahoma; and one Nephew, Chris & Lisa Collins of Spokane, Washington.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, and three brothers: Willis Cade, Harold Patrick, and Micky John, and two sisters: Marcia Grace and Alice Eileen.

Private interment will take place at a later time.

There will be no calling times.
