Neil D. Young

Neil D. Young, age 86, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Cambridge Place in Marysville, Kansas. He was born on August 2, 1938, in Garden City, Kansas, the son of M. Lyle and Ada L. Durley Young. A lifelong resident of Tribune, Kansas, he initially worked as a mechanic for A.E. Smith Implement in Tribune. He later established his own business, Standard Gas Station. Neil also engaged in part-time farming until he sold the gas station to devote himself to full-time farming, a passion he could never give up.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Tribune, Kansas.

On October 7, 1977, he married Judith Arlene Henry in Garden City, Kansas. She passed away four days before him on July 15, 2025.

Survivors include his Two Daughters - Carla L. Young of Marysville, Kansas, DeAnn & Bruce Bloedorn of Marysville, Kansas, One Son - Derek N. Young of Norman, Oklahoma, Seven Grandchildren, and Five Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, 1 Sister - Wilma Prosser, and One Brother - Joe Young.

Graveside Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas.
