Ruby Norma Mallegg, age 89, passed away at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas on Monday, October 30, 2006. She was born on December 21, 1916 in Pella, Iowa, the daughter of Guy Van Skike and Betty Jones Van Skike Bigelow. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1969 moving from Hutchinson, Kansas, she was a homemaker, bookkeeper and a owner and operator of the Hamilton Motel and Shamrock Motel. She was also a Girl Scout Leader. 
 
 In 1937 she married Otto Oswald Mallegg in Chicago, Illinois. He passed away in 1960 in Des Plains, Illinois.

 She was preceded in death by her Parents, and Husband.
