Raymond C. Hermes, age 86, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on September 8, 1920 in Goddard, Kansas, the son of John N. and Mary A. Hilger Hermes. A lifetime resident of Scott County, Kansas, he was the owner and operator of Hermes Jewelry for 30 years before retiring. Memberships include: St. Joseph's Catholic Church Scott City, Kansas Knights of Columbus Scott City, Kansas Past Chamber of Commerce Scott City, Kansas On February 14, 1956 he married Agnes Marie Dougherty in Scott City, Kansas. She passed away on June 27, 1993 in Scott City, Kansas.
