Rodney Alan Paxman

Rodney Alan Paxman, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at his home in Marion, Kansas. He was born on July 22, 1961, to Donald and Joan Donovan Paxman in Tribune, Kansas. He lived most of his life and worked as a mechanic, and was the tire guy. When he wasn’t working, you could find him pulling crappies from the Broken Bridge or giving his time to family, especially his grandchildren.

On July 31, 1992, Rodney married Sharon (Giacobbi) in Leoti, Kansas. She survives.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Sharon, his children - Michael Giacobbi, Lisa & Bret Stultz of Marion, Kansas, James Paxman of Tribune, Kansas, his siblings - Verbin & Tonya Paxman of Tribune, Kansas, Tonya & Chris Pollart of Kendall, Kansas, eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Rodney is preceded in death by his parents, Donald & Joan Paxman, and his sister, Shawna Glazier.

Graveside services will be held at the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas, on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (MT) with Pastor Steve Payne presiding.
