Ronald Koehn

Ronald L. Koehn, age 78, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the Greeley County Health Services in Tribune, Kansas. He was born on November 26, 1947, in Greensburg, Kansas, to Alfred D. & Elma Giesel Koehn. Ron moved his family to Tribune in the late 60’s having moved from the Denver, Colorado area. He worked as a mechanic, but found his real vocation as a farmer.

On October 9, 1968, Ron married Shirley Scott in Denver, Colorado. She survives.

Other survivors include his sons, Brad & Jennie Koehn of Tribune, Kansas, Burke & Tonya Koehn of Scott City, Kansas, two sisters, Carol Koehn of McPherson, Kansas, Louis Wedel of Egypt, Mississippi, five grandchildren, Blake Koehn of Johnstown, Colorado, Tayler Koehn of Hays, Kansas, Brice Koehn of Scott City, Kansas, Kellie Strutt of Manhattan, Kansas, Alisha & Bill Cutshall of Golden Beach, Oregon, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Leroy D. Koehn, Manford Koehn, and two infant brothers.

Interment will be in the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas.
