Ruth Goodrum

Ruth Irene Goodrum, 85, of Tribune, KS passed away on August 29, 2024. She was born July 25, 1939, to Henry and Bertha Brunswig. Ruth was raised on the family farm with her four siblings Bart, Robert, Berdine, and Helen. She attended and graduated from Greeley County High School.

Ruth was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening. She enjoyed the county fair where her flower arrangements would always win ribbons. After her children were raised she worked as a CNA at Greeley County Care Home until her retirement. 

She is survived by her children Dwayne Goodrum, Rhonda Goodrum, Randy Goodrum, Sandra Hall, grandchildren Christopher Hall, Ashley Hall and Micheal Hall and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Bertha Brunswig, brothers Bart and Robert, sisters Berdine Kaeberle and Helen Green. 

A private family graveside service will be held at the Greeley County Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the "Greeley County Long Term Care Activity Fund" care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 161, Leoti, KS 67861.

There will be no visitation.
