Selena Rose Quintana, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas. She was born on February 17, 2026 at the Hays Medical Center to loving parents Gracie Ann Zapata and Juan Daniel Quintana.
Survivors include her Mother - Gracie Ann Zapata of Scott City, Kansas, Father - Juan Daniel Quintana of Scott City, Kansas, Three Sisters - Aria Smith of Scott City, Kansas, Avery Smith of Scott City, Kansas, Valerie Quintana of Scott City, Kansas, Maternal Grandparents - Maria and Joe Zapata of Scott City, Kansas, Maternal Great Grandmother - Juanita Zapata of Robstown, Texas, Paternal Grandmother - Adriana Amezcua of Scott City, Kansas, Paternal Great Grandparents - Juanita and Ramon Amezcua of Shallowater, Kansas, and Many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas, with Fr. Don Bedore presiding.
She was preceded in death by Frank and Maria Leal, Jacob Ortiz, Billy Leal, Amber Warren and Johnny Leal.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Selena Quintana Memorial Fund in care of Price and Sons, P.O. Box 552, Scott City, KS 67871.
Public Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, Feb 27, 2026 at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington Street, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
