Seon J. Choi

Seon J. Choi, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on October 10, 1943 in Ilsan City, Gyeonggi Province, the daughter of Uiyong Choi and Sunvi Lee. A resident of Healy, Kansas since 2024 moving from Overland Park, Kansas, she was a beautician for over 40 years and was the owner and operator of Una in Overland Park, Kansas.

She was a member of the Healy United Methodist Church in Healy, Kansas.

In 1971 she married Young Sik Gil in Seoul, South Korea. He passed away on March 22, 2015 in Altanta, Georgia.

Survivors Include her Three Daughters - Bonnie & Derrick Beeson of Gainsville, Georgia, Hyun Ju & Tilden Gil Snow of Osawatomie, Kansas, and Jee Sook Gil & Chang Bong Yeon of Healy, Kansas, and One Granddaughter - Emma Shihyun Yeon of Healy, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and Husband - Young Sik Gil.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Donations may be made to Healy United Methodist Church in Healy, Kansas.
