Sharon Aletta Patton, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on February 18, 1942, in Liberal, Kansas, the daughter of Phillip and Bonnie Crispens Myrick. She had been a resident of Scott City, Kansas, for the last six years, moving from Lawrence, Kansas. She was an excellent corporate secretary for the president of University State Bank.

Above all else, Sharon's heart was truly filled when she was with her husband and family. The joy she found in coaching Scott's baseball team for several years, the countless memories created on the road living an RV lifestyle—these moments were her happiness and her love.

On September 3, 1961, she married Duane Patton in Scott City, Kansas, at the First Baptist Church. He survives.

Survivors include her Husband, Duane Patton, of Scott City, Kansas, One Son - Scott and Stacey Patton of Colorado, One Grandson, One Granddaughter, One Brother - Ronald and Esther Myrick of Texas, and One Sister - Janice and Don Richardson of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and One Brother - Keith Myrick.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas, with Pastor Steve Payne presiding.
