Susan Jo Brown, age 80, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on June 15, 1946, in Glencoe, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joseph & Hazel Schenck Hendrix. A resident of Scott City, Kansas, since 1975, moving from Wheeling, Illinois. She was an office administrator at local feedlots until her retirement.

On February 7, 1969, she married Larry L. Brown in Kansas City, Kansas. He survives.

Survivors include her husband - Larry L. Brown of Scott City, Kansas, Two Daughters - Cherie & Tony Kardelis of Lakewood, Colorado, Kori & Sage Davis of Scott City, Kansas, One Sister - Peggy & Earl Schnell of Collinsville, Oklahoma, and Numerous Nieces & Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, and Two Brothers - John Hendrix & Hal Hendrix.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas, with Steve Payne presiding.

Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
