Thomas W. McCollum

Thomas W. McCollum, age 76, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on May 13, 1949, in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Richard A. & Sandy Meis McCollum. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, he was farmer, business owner and maintenance man.

He was a member of the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas. Tom was a graduate of Scott Community High School and received a Bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University.

Survivors include his One Son and Daughter in Law - Rich McCollum & Wendy Tatro of Webster Groves, Missouri, One Brother - John McCollum of Scott City, Kansas, Two Sisters - Patricia & Robert Hoeme of Scott City, Kansas, Judy & Don Browning of Atlanta, Georgia, Two Granddaughters, and Two Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, and One Sister - Anita McCollum.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery
