Walter E. Hundertmark, age 80, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on June 24, 1944, in Goodland, Kansas, the son of Walter Theodore & Margaret Catherine Nolan Hundertmark. A resident of Scott City, Kansas, since 1970, moving from Goodland, Kansas, he was a Feed Truck Driver for HRC Feedyard for 47 years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas, and was a past National Guardsman.
Walter loved his family and was very proud of them. He always wanted to go for car rides, liked to fish, go to rodeos, and never minded an episode of Wheel of Fortune.
On December 22, 1973, he married Carolyn Wright in Scott City, Kansas. She survives.
Survivors include his Wife - Carolyn Hundertmark of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Janelle Hundertmark of Scott City, Kansas, One Son - Jason & Robbie Hundertmark of Scott City, Kansas, Three Grandsons - Justin Hundertmark of Goodland, Kansas, Bryce Hundertmark of Scott City, Kansas, Seth Hundertmark of Scott City, Kansas, One Great Grandson Jared Hundertmark of Goodland, Kansas, and One Sister In Law - Ruby Hundertmark of Garden City, Kansas, and Numerous Sisters & Brothers in Law, Nephews and Nieces.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Brother - Harry Hundertmark, and Three Sisters - Alta Evans, Luella Black, and Caroline Nowak.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas, with Don Williams presiding.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials can be written to the Walter Hundertmark Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 553, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, and 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington Street, Scott City, Kansas.
