Wendy Marie Wilbur, age 48, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas.  Wendy was born April 22, 1971 in Tribune, Kansas, the daughter of Gary Gwyn & Marilyn Joyce ( McBride ) Wilbur.  A lifetime resident of western Kansas, she was a farmer, rancher, teacher and a partner in Wilstine Farm Supply.

Wendy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Leoti, Kansas.  She was a graduate of Wichita State University, playing on the women’s Shockers basketball team and track squad from 1991-1992.  She held memberships in the American Angus Association and WSU Alumni Association.

Her mother, Marilyn Wilbur, Grandfathers, Jim McBride and Bob Wilbur, two uncles precede her in death.

Marilyn Wilbur- Garden City, Kansas


Diran Barr- Berthoud, Colorado

Step brothers-

Ryan & Mindy Andrasek- Richmond, Texas

Rick & Amber Andrasek- Spring Hill, Tennessee

Twelve nieces, four nephews, one great- niece and one great -nephew.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Leoti, Kansas with Rev. Gary Salmans officiating.

Burial will be in Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas.

Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.

Memorials may be made to the Wendy Wilbur Memorial Fund to benefit the Wichita County Health Center and Wichita County School Sports programs.
