William Harold Novak

William “Bill” Harold Novak, age 73, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, at the Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas. He was born in Garden City, Kansas on October 3, 1948, to Glenn Joseph and Arlene Ethel Miller Novak. Bill spent his entire life in Modoc, farming, ranching, and attending the Modoc Coffee Club. He also took up fishing, snow skiing, and coin collecting.

Survivors include, two brothers; Robert “Bob” Novak of Modoc, Kansas, David & Sherry Novak of Modoc, Kansas, one sister, Deana Novak of Hutchinson, Kansas, two nephews; Brian & his wife Xinjie (and newborn Zane Nick) Novak of Modoc, Kansas, and Matt Novak of Modoc, Kansas.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Nick Novak.

A graveside service will be held at the Modoc Cemetery on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 2:00 P.M.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be written to the Wichita County Health Center nursing staff in care of Price & Sons Funeral Homes.
